We are currently in the midst of our craziest season ever. The increased interest in gardening and home & backyard projects has led to unprecedented numbers for us and throughout our industry. This has resulted in longer lines and extended order turnarounds for curbside pick-up and deliveries. Please be patient. We are doing our best.
For the safety (and sanity!) of our overwhelmed staff, please keep the following in mind:
- CURBSIDE PICK UP – This service was developed to help get us through the early days of the shutdown and to protect our most ‘at-risk’ neighbors. However, we do not have the staff to maintain current levels of in-store sales, outdoor nursery sales, and phone/email/website orders for curbside pick-up and delivery. Until further notice, priority will be given to customers in-store and in our outdoor nursery. Phone, email, and website orders may take up to one-business day to process. When calling into the store, you may need to leave a message. Please do not continue to call as this ties up our phone lines and impedes our ability to call you back. We will respond to you within one business day. If you are in urgent need of product, the fastest way to get your order fulfilled is to come into the store. We are operating with extended safety measures in place and ask that all customers wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Our registers are enabled with contactless payment options, and we offer an outdoor [credit card] payment option as well. Please find a staff member outside upon your arrival if outdoor payment is something you require
- ONLINE CATALOG ITEMS – Our entire product catalog is not currently available online. While it had been our intent to have everything posted prior to Spring, the pandemic set us back a bit. There may be items posted that are currently unavailable and other items that are available that are not currently posted. Please ask if you are looking for something specific. There is a good chance we have it or can recommend something similar.
- OUT OF STOCKS – An unprecedented year in sales across the industry (in conjunction with Covid 19 shutdowns) has led to talked-about shortages across many of our product lines, especially those manufactured overseas. We are working closely with our distributor partners to stay ahead of this wherever possible, but shortages are something to be expected.
We understand this is not the most optimal situation for everyone, but we are doing our best to accommodate as many as possible with the resources we have available. This is a stressful time for all. We deeply appreciate your continued support and patronage. We recognize how lucky we are to be operating during this difficult time.
Lastly, we must call out our incredible staff. We are eternally grateful to each & every one of them and the dedication they have shown. They have been on the clock since this pandemic began. They have managed to stay positive while fighting through the increased demands put upon them, and we owe them kindness and patience. We’re all in this together.
