White Clover is a perennial legume known for its nitrogen fixing ability. It produces small white-to-pinkish flowers. This leafy clover is used on lawns, as a ground cover, for erosion control, in pastures and for soil improvement. White Clover grows best in moist, well-drained fertile soils. Because of its shallow root system, it does not grow well in dry soils.

How to Plant White Clover:
For best establishment White Clover needs good soil contact. If seeding White Clover into an existing lawn, mow the lawn very short. Remove all thatch and debris and consider mixing the clover seed with sand in order to better control spreading and distribution. Water the area if possible in the absence of rainfall. DO NOT plant White Clover in areas you apply broadleaf weed controls.
