The beautiful, gracefully arching purple to red foliage of Red Rubrum Grass adds color and interest to landscape beds, rock gardens and planters. Nice for larger patio containers or as a centerpiece in combination plantings. The dark red flower heads make interesting additions to cut flower arrangements and can be dried for use in crafts. An annual in our area so it won't survive our winter, but the dry foliage adds interest to the winter landscape and will provide nesting material for birds in the spring.
