This year's ornament is the Nellie McNight Museum (located at 70 Main Street in Ellington), former home of the popular town librarian and current home of the Ellington Historical Society. The museum is wholly owned and operated by the Historical Society, a 501c(3) non-profit corporation. Funding for the operation of the museum comes from society members’ dues, individual gifts, and fundraising activities.
